A real shop, with real people in it
Search "locksmith near me" in Wichita and you'll get a screen full of dispatch numbers: call centers that take your job, mark it up, and send whoever answers. Some aren't in Kansas at all. That model is how people end up paying $400 for a lockout and getting a drilled lock they didn't need.
We're the opposite. A storefront at 305 N. Market you can walk into, a counter staffed by people who cut keys all day, and service trucks that leave from downtown Wichita. When you call, someone at the shop answers. When we quote a price, that's the price we mean. That is the entire reason the same family has kept this business alive since 1903.

The shop
A hundred years of key blanks on one wall
There is a practical reason to use an old locksmith: inventory. Big-box kiosks stock a few dozen common blanks. We stock walls of them, including obsolete keyways for the locks still hanging in Wichita's older homes, downtown office buildings, and churches, plus the code books and machines to originate a key when there's nothing to copy.
That's also why we can usually fix what somebody else told you had to be replaced.
